Jam is over and a good time was had. A lot of people showed up to ride and watch, probably somewhere in the 200+ range or so. Fun spot/Bike Park made some money and a lot of cash got handed back to riders. People shredded in all categories (AM and PRO BMX, and Open MTB). I know Jordan won pro with some high flying action and made enough money to buy about 7 snuggies , Chris Reisner got second and enough cash to pay for his trip out here (so he wasn't able to grumble like usual). Joey Chernoff and Tony Campos and Shea Nyquist were going nuts too and I think they got some stuff.
A bunch of people took photos and shot video so as that stuff pops up I'm sure you will see it here among other places.
Kurt Russell won longest skid, and then won a fistful of cash for highest bunnyhop at 41 inches. A guy who was shredding all night won the long jump comp with a whopping 22.5 feet. The "sway back sally" ramp and the small spine were the only casualties of the night, and luckily Jordan didn't die when the sway back ramp collapsed while he was riding it at top speed.
Beer flowed and the parties that started in the warehouse and parking lot were taken to some after hours spots.
Big Thanks to the sponsors: Ramp Rats, 2HIP bikes, Solid Bikes, Ibis BIkes, Honest Tea (not to be confused with Honesto T), Deth Ride, Sin CAL 4130, Lewis Tree Service and Red Bull (who showed up and gave out drinks, then got there cars stuck in the mud and watched as Shea Nyquist joyrode in a stolen Red Bull vehicle).
A special thanks to: Jesse Nickell Sr. who organized that contest and made sure things went smoothly. Barry Swenson Builders for letting us use the space to ride in all the time and have a pretty grimy contest. Thanks to everyone for showing up.
Mike Hernandez gets his own special thank you. Mike spent about 30 out of the last 48 hours in the warehouse making this thing possible. He secured most of the prizes for the comp, and practically built every ramp in there with minimal help. Next time you see Mike, buy him a beer.

THE JAM RULED! although you forgot to thank 2HIP for supplying t-shirts, it's all good cuz you really listed the good stuff, I think one (of many) of the biggest tricks that went down was Chris's Can-Can tweek-out seat grab. I can't wait to see the photos Joey took.
I did not say that last post! There is an Impostor amongst us!!!
