Honorable Mention

Richard Homer has a piece up on ESPN about his BuildtheWoods site. Towards the end the Canyon gets a mention with some nice company. Thanks Rich, although we still use carpet occasionally, but only if we absolutely have to.

Besides hosting the best channel on Vimeo, Build the Woods is a nicely put together collective where nerds like us can drool over dubs and berms when it's raining in our particular neck of the woods. Rather than waiting for magazines and visitors with cameras to make questionable decisions on how much of a set of trails to expose, Build the Woods let's trails builders share their ideas with like minded dudes around the world. Land might be hard to come by, and getting more than a few people to leave the skatepark and pick up a shovel might be difficult but I don't think there has ever been a better time for trails. Free exchange of ideas. We'll drink to that. Dusty Samson first set in OJs.
