Welcome to Sasquatch Scan-yon. I acquired a scanner about a month ago and I finally took a little time to make some very tangible objects (mostly photos) a little more digital. Jeremy Kaiser @ West Linn skatepark in Portland 2003?. Jeremy and I had just met a few days before this. I drove up to Redding to see my grandparents and I was pretty determined to go to Oregon, but I didn't have anyone to drive with. I can't really remember if
Dave was in town or if he just gave me directions to where Jeremy was living. Everyone else had stuff to do that week, so when it came time for me to leave for Oregon I asked who wanted to come and Jeremy shrugged and just hopped in the car. We slept at Shad's one night and went to a strip bar for some beers
and steaks (Oregon requires topless places to serve food, so often you can order a steak while watching an aging stripper with stretch marks and bullet wounds stagger around a stage. Not the most appetizing sight). We spent another night camped in the freezing car waiting to ride Burnside, which we did. We got in some great skatepark sessions in between getting rained out a fair amount but the best part was getting to know
Jeremy. Although, it took a couple years to get to know him this well...
