So it's George Brett's birthday today, and somewhere he is already drunk on bloody marys and looking for a fight. For those of you not as into baseball as me or this guy George Brett was arguably one of the best third baseman ever. A true blue Kansas City Royal he amassed over 300 homeruns, 3000 hits and maintained a .300+ batting average during his career. Besides Tony Gwynn he had the best crack at hitting .400 in a season (he hit .390 in 1980). But it wasn't just his statistics that made this MVP fun to watch. Brett was a certifiable loose cannon, with this being the most famous incident:A few of you have heard me tell stories that aren't so different than this next one. A must listen, but turn your sound up cause he is kinda whispering. So why would I wanna party with a pants shitting maniac? Cause you would always rather have that guy on your team rather than the other team.
